Happy New Year all.

First I just wanted to say Happy New Years to everyone!.I hope the year will be a beautiful one for you.
I have taken a fare amount of pictures from Christmas on-wards but the cord for my camera is gone so I will hopefully be getting a replacement on Monday..then I can do a 'pic heavy' post.:P

The park

Today panda and I went to the park.It had a huge volcano (fake of course), a flying fox and other fun stuff for children to play on.At the top of the volcano there's mist that sprays up every now and then and on the ground water randomley shoots out...panda got pretty soaked :P.Theres loads of little raised steps that look a bit like toad stools to step from one to the other and big trees to sit under, I was even going to go on the flying fox but a big bunch of children came along so I just left them to it instead :).Unfortunaly I didnt have my camera with me to take pictures...I really need to remember to bring it along when I go out.

Just a random post.

*sigh* It's so hot today and my car has no air con:(. I just drove an hour to take my partner K to cricket..lucky for us the drive was along a beach road and the breeze was lovely:). I can't wait to have enough money to get the air con done...in fact I can't wait to have enough money to do anything. I'm glad we dont really do the 'present' part of christmas, lets us save a heap of money that we'll need for traveling.
I love that we've moved here and that pandabear and I have alot more to do during the times K's working but I feel very restless inside, I feel that I need to be traveling, something i want to do so so much. K and I have set up a goal of saving money in the shortest time possible then buying a van or camper to travel around with.
I'v also decided to set up my own personal goal of things I want to do. For a while now I have felt the need to try out different/new things. I would love to play violin again...in fact i would love to play many instraments and learn how to make felt dolls or puppets.Also learning a different languge would be awsome.
Well i dont have much else to write at the moment and have a tired 2.5yr old needing boob.:)

Having another go.

I though I might try to give blogging another chance.I barely did any the first time round and want to give it another go.I felt nothing very exciting was happening in my life at the time and I thought that it was too boring to write about.
Since I last posted I'v moved out of my parents house, into my own home(which I'll have to move out of soon into another) and feel so much happier.There is nowhere near as much tension around and my relationship with my parent's is slowly repairing.When we moved in to our new home we added a new edition to the family, a golden retriever/kelpie whom we call Nanook :).
Im really not sure if I'll be good at this blogging business second time round(did'nt think I was that great first time:P) but hope to write about me and my little tribes life..living as naturally as we can.

Poor baby rabbit.:(

Last night we went out to have dinner at pandabear's Poppy's house.After dinner we talked a little then headed home.We were at the gate of our house just heading in when we saw a little baby rabbit on its side spinning around and around, i knew it was hurt so i got a shirt and went out to see if i could move it.It was so upset and hurt squeaking at me when i went close to it.I picked it up then headed to the house to see if i could call the rspca...i hummed softly to it which seemed to help calm it.We called all the numbers we could for after hours but no one answered and then around five or so minutes later the little baby died which i felt really upset about.I believe it might of been hit in the head(brain damage) or had a broken back..:(. I didn't get any pictures of her/him but it was a soft brown/white and had so many fleas i could see them crawling all over its fur.I really hope it wasn't in too much pain.:(

Our little update on things.:)

I've been away for a little while and only just a couple of days ago started coming back on the computer fully. i was house sitting for two weeks and the Internet there was pretty slow so i couldn't really do much except check emails.so here is an update of the things we've done since my last post.There was allot of rain a little while ago and i took some pictures of the veranda flooding a little and also of the drains and how they turned into a small fountain.:P

Here are a couple of pictures of Pandabear eating some pasta(one of his favourite foods) and getting it all over himself.We have quiet a few other pictures of him eating and in those he's posing allot :P

I love the face he's pulling here, it just looks so funny to me .

Here he is at the house we were sitting trying on his daddies shoes. i think he sort of looks like a clown in this picture. :P

This is another time he had pasta and decided it looked good spreads all over him.those orange marks are the pasta sauce. He had it up to his bum and spread all over his legs. :P

We also brought a new car a week ago as are old one had so many things wrong with it, it just wasn't worth the money we were putting into it. It was a green ford falcon and we traded it in and brought a kia sportarge (sp?) :)...i love it! it feels like were gliding and not just driving over the road.Panda also loves it heaps especially because he can now sit next to the window and look at at everything whereas in the old car he couldn't,he calls this "arrr nneww tarr" :).Also for the last few weeks me and Panda have been going out to playgroups and places with activities for children allot more which i think is really helping with any unsure feelings about children he had/has.

out for a drive to a farm.

Yesterday pandabear,dp and i went for a drive out to a farm were dp is setting up websites for a women there .I thought that it would be fun for me and pandabear to go along as they have alpacas, goats and other animals there.When we got to the farm, pandabear saw a little puppy who he immediately loved and wanted to stay attached to which i thought was cute. I then put on the carrier and off we went outside for a walk along the pathways were the animals were. We had some feed pellets with us to give to the alpacas which they seemed to enjoy quiet a bit, almost pushing right into me to get some food lol.i then turned around and saw either an alpaca or lama(i cant remember what the women said he was) he had a white coat and light blue eyes,when i asked about him the owner said that he is very beautiful but usually those with that colouring have males that are deaf and females that are infertile which i thought was a bit sad for them. We walked all through the yard and saw the baby alpacas which looked so funny as they had just been shawn, we also saw a poor little baby goat that had a broken one of it's legs and whose mum rejected it .the owner said she was hoping she can save it and that it would be ok. I hope so too.My partner had then finished with the website so it was time to go home,we all hopped into the car, pandabear saying bye over and over :P.He fell asleep not long after and stayed asleep all the way home. :)

Pandabear loves going in his carrier.his dad only recently started learning how to do it. its so much easier i believe when i carry my child, no bulky prams just strait up on my or my partners back and away we go :)

He loves the slide at the park.not long ago he learned how to climbed up it to go back down.he has no fear of doing so and we know he can usually judge his limits himself...haha though "be carefull's" slip out a few times :P

pandabear being a little bird :)

The other day i brought home a pair of angel wings for panda to play with. He absolutely love's them, twirling around, flapping the wings and moving from side to side to show me how he looked. He absolutely loves playing dress up and will search for scarves,clothes and all sorts to drape around himself then walk around to show everyone. :)

Hello everyone :)
my name is Alena and i have just decided to start up a blog of things that happen in my and my families life. I'm very new at this so please bear with me and be patient if i don't always get things quiet right ;).i live in a very green and "wet" part of Australia that i think is really nice, though i don't think i will stay here for very long. i am mum to a 18 month old little cuddly pandabear and partner to a wonderful man. i love things to do with natural parenting,pregnancy and birth,natural living and learning.
